Dumb Supper
For October, Sister Circle is holding a special event- a dumb supper. This is when attendees eat dinner in silence, out of humble respect for the ancestors and those who have gone before us. It is a gesture of both gratitude and sacredness. In addition, remaining silent through the dinner allows time and space for the ancestors to speak to us. Our tribute will not be a full dinner- but more of a snack/appetizer offering. Please bring a dish to share. If you are honoring a specific individual, feel free to bring something that you know they would like.
