Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing based on Eastern Medicine belief that living beings have energy fields that support their health and vitality. When your energy is balanced and in harmony, you feel better. What Happens during a session? Prior to each session I do a consult/ check -in and explain what to expect and answer any questions. During a reiki session you will remain fully clothed while laying on a massage table. I use a series of hand positions, applied gently on or just above areas of the body, to support the connection with Reiki. This helps your body relax and begin the healing process. A quiet, deeply relaxed state is beneficial for restorative healing. Reiki healing in not a substitute for qualified medical care but can be safely used in conjunction with medical treatments.
